Welcome back for Term 4. We have had a wonderful beginning to the term with all classes getting straight into learning. Some highlights from my recent classroom walkthroughs included seeing our Foundation students learning about narrative writing and our Year 2 students learning about fractions. I also received some very thoughtful letters from some of our Year 5 students who shared with me some of the happenings from their school holiday break. I look forward to responding to these students soon.

Our drainage rectification works are continuing. We still have all 5 stages of these works open with below ground infrastructure works mostly completed and moving forward into landscaping and above ground works soon. I am grateful that our construction team have worked closely with me to minimise disruptions to school operations where possible.

I would like to congratulate all of our students who recently represented our school at the Division Athletics event held in Mornington. I was proud to see a number of our students participate in their events on the day.

Alexander, Sienna, Billie, Eddy, Ruby, Bowie, Myra, Jack, Willow, Jarvis, Georgina, Vivian, Maisie, Fletcher, Oliver, Louie, Ned, Sydney, Kora, Nate, Otis, Bianca, Lachlan, Audrey, Hudson, Arlo, Haddie, Ally.

This week our Foundation students went off on their first excursion to Moonlight Sanctuary. We also have our Year 4 students on camp at Pt Leo. I look forward to dropping into camp to see how everyone is getting on.

As we begin planning our student placements for 2026, we are committed to making thoughtful decisions that will support the best outcomes for all students. Our teachers, who have extensive knowledge of each student’s learning and social needs, will carefully consider a range of factors when forming classes.

To help us in this process, children will have the opportunity to list four friends they would like to be placed with next year. We will ensure that your child is placed with at least one friend from their list.

If your child has any specific needs that you would like us to consider during class placement, please email Krysha Renison at [email protected] by November 7th, 2025. Should we be unable to accommodate your request, we will contact you directly to discuss further.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to ensure the best possible learning environment for all our students.
